I signed up for the monthly subscription of £25, filled out a hair questionnaire and got my first box last week.
Here’s what’s in the box:
I was pleased to see all full-size products, the contents of this box are worth over £50 so definitely a bargain!
Dr Miracle’s Curl Care Rehydrating Shampoo (355ml)
I had high hopes for this shampoo – no sulfates, parabens, sodium & phthalate and low suds formula.
So its time to wash my hair, lets start with the smell. It has an overbearing cherry menthol scent and kind of reminds me of ‘Tunes Cherry menthol lozenges’. Not a fan of the scent!
It lathers well and after a few seconds my scalp felt overwhelmingly tingly. This shampoo feels like its got a truck load of menthol. It didn’t just tingle my scalp, my face was burning as I rinsed it out.
I usually love minty shampoos but this one is way too much for me!
Plus after rinsing my hair, it felt stripped and was tangled. No thank you Dr Miracle’s!
Dr Miracle’s Curl Care Nourishing Conditioner (473ml)
I was excited when I saw the size of this conditioner, however when I read the list of ingredients my heart sank. The dreaded ‘silicones’ which is a NO-NO for my hair.
So after my epic failure with the shampoo, I decided to try the conditioner and again menthol overload. It did nothing to detangle or condition my hair so I rinsed it off and used my regular conditioner.
Dr Miracle’s Curl Care Strong Hold Gel (237ml)
No surprises here – more cherry menthol, you guessed it I didn’t like this product.
It did absolutely nothing for my curls.
Hairfinity Hair Vitamins (60 Capsules)

I’ve used this supplement in the past and I only used it for a month.
I can’t really tell if it works as I was using other supplements at the same time. I was happy to see it included in my box as it retails for around £25.
Cantu Coconut Curling Cream
Defines curls without weighing down hair
Moisturizes & strengthens strands
I’ve used this product in the past and it works well to define and moisturise my curls.
I was happy to see if included in the box.
I’m really disappointed I didn’t like any of the Dr Miracle’s curl care products but I’m glad I got to try them.
I’m looking forward to next month’s box.
Have you tried any of these products? I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments.
