Being a grown-up isn’t what I expected it to be, it’s certainly not all roses and butterflies….. it’s tough! REALLY tough!
It almost feels like we barely learn to take our first steps and then we walk straight into a boxing ring.
Ironic isn’t it? But thats exactly how life is! You either fight or it’s total knock out!
Sometimes you have to take the blows to gain strength for that life changing punch.
We live and learn, often the hard way, with irreversible consequences and damage; but as a good friend of mine says: “plough through”!
Imagine a ball, when you throw it onto the floor what happens?
Resilience is the ability to come back stronger than ever, after being knocked down.
Being able to control your emotions, and see failure as a form of helpful feedback.
If it doesn’t kill you, it will most certainly make you stronger.
I know that it’s so easy to have a positive attitude when things run smoothly, but the real challenge is to remain optimistic when everything around you is crumbling.
So, plough through….
…and keep on ploughing.
Gratitude is the best attitude.
Even after misfortune, I acknowledge the fact that I’m blessed, regardless of how I feel, I’m still grateful and thankful for my life, health, family and friends.
“The best things in life aren’t things”!
Have a lovely weekend.
