Review – Good Bubble Clean as a Bean Shampoo with Dragon Fruit Extract

Good Bubble is a range of natural bath and hair products for children, with a superfruit twist. Made with real fruit extracts and at least 98% natural ingredients, their award-winning products are free from sulfates, parabens, silicone, PEG, phthalates, and artificial colour. They are allergen-free and have been dermatologically and ophthalmologist tested for a tear-free bath time.  They are also registered with the Vegan Society

I met the owner Amy Wordsworth at the Natural and Organic Products Europe show and we had a quick chat about products for kids with eczema and sensitive skin.  She gave me the Clean as a bean shampoo to try out.

img_0209-1 With a family background in personal care manufacturing, her parents have a factory in Manchester and have been making soaps of all sorts for 30 years now. From bubble bath to shampoo, and body wash to beard wash, they know their suds.

Following a career in the advertising and marketing industry, Amy wanted to use her knowledge and experience to create a brand with a difference.

After discovering that 89% of parents in the UK were worried about the safety of ingredients in children’s toiletries, she collaborated with her parents to create a natural range of products with free-from ingredients that would still deliver great results.

“I wanted to create a range of products that were foremost free from nasties and kind to the skin, that parents would be happy to use but also a range that children would want to use. Hence, the superfruit element – which incorporates wonderful fruits with weird names, represented by adorable characters that help bring some fun to bath time in a natural way”

There are currently two superfruit variants in the range; Dragon Fruit and Cloudberry represented by the adorable characters Dexter Dragon Fruit and Clara Cloudberry.

I love trying out new products for kids but as my kids have eczema, I have to be especially careful about what products I use.  Thankfully there are no nasties here!

First of all I can’t believe the price, very affordable.  I love the fun packaging, the shampoo has a nice lather and does a great job.  It rinses out easily and leaves the hair clean without feeling stripped, no tangles.   It has a yummy fruity scent that lingers.

I will definitely purchase this myself and try out more from the brand.
