It’s been a busy Summer…. trying to keep the kids entertained and lots of birthday celebrations!
Now it’s time to share this month’s LoveLula Beauty Box which has a variety of products worth £55.
Mádara Brightening AHA Peel Mask (60ml | £24)
This active AHA peeling mask provides instant radiance with a super dose of nature’s active fruit acids. Vitamin C from quince fruit, blended with hydrating lactic acid and soothing elderflower provides efficient exfoliation for bright, radiant and soothed skin.
Especially beneficial for those with dull, tired skin, signs of ageing, lines, wrinkles, age spots, lack of glow, clogged pores or acne. Not suitable for those with fragile, hypersensitive skin.

*Ingredients from Organic Farming. **Natural essential oils. ***Made using organic ingredients. ****Pure mineral pigments.
This mask has been featured several times and is apparently the most requested item ever in the LoveLula Beauty box. Honestly I wasn’t overly excited to see it again!
I’m still getting through the last one as I tend to reach for it every 2 weeks or so. It helps to unclog my pores and remove dead skin cells but it’s not one of my favourite masks.
|Rosa Canina Seed Oil* (Rosehip), Ricinus Communis Seed Oil* (Castor), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil* (Jojoba), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)|
I seriously covet thick and long lashes (some people are lucky to be born with them). People like me have to rely on lengthening mascara!
I’ve heard of people using castor oil to help thicken and grow lashes. This is my first time trying a lash oil so it was rather interesting using it.
You’re supposed to apply it at night before bedtime which makes sense as it gives it more time to saturate and absorb better. I applied 2 drops to my fingertips and then gently massage into clean dry eyelashes. I found this method a bit fiddly to apply without getting the oil into my eyes.
An easier method I found is to get hold of disposable mascara wands (I found a good value pack of 100).
Dip the mascara wand in the oil and then carefully apply on upper and lower lashes, making sure to thoroughly coat each lash.
It does feel nourishing and I’m hoping with regular use I will achieve stronger and longer lashes!

I was expecting a grainy exfoliator when I first tried this, it feels more like a softly textured creamy cleanser. You can just about feel the tiny grains of crushed almonds so it’s really gentle for even sensitive skin.
I like to apply to dry skin and gently massage for 2 minutes. It gently cleanses and exfoliates at the same time. After rinsing, my skin feels softer, smoother, brighter and more evenly toned.
Kimberly Sayer Ultra Light Facial Moisturiser Sample
|water/aqua/eau, zinc oxide & titanium dioxide (mineral sunblockers), tinctorius (safflower) seed oil*, Citrus limonum (Lemon) oil*, wax, glycerin, Chondrus crispus (carrageenan), Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter*, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice*, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract*, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, xanthan gum, dehydroacetic acid, behenyl alcohol, citric acid.|
I love Kimberly Sayer and this is a brilliant SPF face moisturiser. The texture is really light so perfect in the summer time. It has a lovely citrus scent, absorbs well and thankfully it doesn’t leave me with a white cast afterwards. My skin is adequately moisturised and protected too.
Gallinée Hydrating Face Cream (5ml sample)
Your best ally for a healthy glow.
Hydrates, tones, and leaves skin looking luminous. Helps support your skin’s good bacteria, evening out the complexion, while nourishing and protecting your skin.
A patented Triple Biotic Complex of prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics helps to support your skin’s microbiome in the most gentle and effective way possible, combined with the antioxidant actions of organic myrtle extract.
|Aqua (Water)*, Glycerin*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil*, Isopropyl Palmitate*, Sucrose Stearate*, Dicaprylyl Ether*, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide*, Glyceryl Stearate*, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate*, Inulin*, Lactic Acid*, Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice*, Lactobacillus*, Maltodextrin*, Myrtus Communis Leaf Extract*, Arginine*, Capryloyl Glycine*, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone), Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Octisalate), Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate*, Undecylenoyl Glycine*, Tocopherol*, Ethylhexylglycerin, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Xanthan Gum*, Sodium Hydroxide*, Sodium Benzoate.|
* Ingredient from natural origin
This face cream is rich and creamy but doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. My skin feels soft and hydrated afterwards. However it does contain some synthetic sunscreen ingredients which I’m not so keen on, so not something I’m likely to purchase.
Gallinée Hand Cream (5ml sample)
(50ml | £11.90)
For hands that are supple and oh-so-soft
Soothes, hydrates, and repairs. Helps support your good bacteria, regenerating dry and damaged skin. Hands are left feeling soft, supple, and are protected from external aggressors.
|Aqua (Water)*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Cetearyl Alcohol*, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide*, Glycerin*, Lactic Acid*, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer, Cetyl Alcohol*, Cetearyl Glucoside*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Inulin*, Parfum (Fragrance), Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice*, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bellis Perennis (Daisy) Flower Extract*, Lactobacillus*, Arginine*, Maltodextrin*, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract*, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone), Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Octisalate), Xanthan Gum*, Phenethyl Alcohol*, Alcohol*, Glycerin*, Sodium Hydroxide*, Sodium Phosphate, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Limonene.|
The texture of this hand cream is amazing…. so soft and silky. It absorbs quickly and leaves my hands so soft. It also has lovely scent which sadly is perfume like. Like the face cream it contains synthetic sunscreen ingredients, so not a likely purchase for me.
I have to say that overall I didn’t find this month’s box exciting at all! I’m hoping next month will have some new exciting discoveries.
