Noughty Rise & Shine Shampoo (250ml | £6.99)

Rise and shine to locks you’ll love. This 97% natural, silicone and sulphate free shampoo hydrates and nourishes for extraordinary hair every day. Blue mallow flower extract and jojoba oil add a generous dose of radiance and sheen. There’s always time for extra shine.

Noughty Rise & Shine Shampoo

House of Oils: Our unique blend of plant oils assists in boosting the strength of hair, improves suppleness, smoothness and shine, and helps to reduce damage and breakage. This is natural nurture for manes, and we use the best of these potent moisturisers.

Of all the known plant oils, jojoba has the molecular structure most similar to sebum (oil produced by the sebaceous glands in the skin, responsible for shine). It works with our natural oils to keep hair and scalp moisturised.

Moisturising blue mallow extract conditions scalp and hair.

Shine-boosting white tea extract has high levels of protective antioxidants…higher than either black or green tea.

SLMI (Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate) is a mild, water-soluble surfactant derived from coconut. Sulphate-free, this provides the lather and cleansing activity that powers all our Noughty shampoos.

Fragrance: Refreshing rosemary and mint scent.

Noughty Rise & Shine Shampoo

The consistency of this shampoo is a bit runny but it lathers well.  It left my hair stripped and tangled so not a fan of this one.  I got on better with their ‘To the rescue’ collection.

Noughty Rise & Shine Conditioner (250ml | £6.99)

It’s time to shine with this 97% natural, silicone free conditioner designed to intensify lustre and sheen. Blue mallow flower extract and jojoba oil combine to deliver a generous dose of gloss and nourishment for normal to dry hair. Rise and shine to locks you’ll love.

Ingredients:

Aqua/Eau/Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Coco-Caprylate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum (Fragrance), Citric Acid, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Phytate, Eucalyptus Globulus Oil, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil, Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Alpha Iso Methyl Ionone, Potassium Sorbate, Linalool.

So after my tangled situation with the shampoo, I needed this conditioner to deliver.  It is light with a creamy texture.  It has a good amount of slip which helped to melt away tangles.  My hair felt soft afterwards but again I liked the ‘To the rescue’ conditioner as it was more moisturising for my hair type.

So I’m not overly impressed with this month’s box as there was only one product I kinda liked.  Now this is my personal opinion, I know there are some who are overjoyed with this box.  I’m contemplating whether or not to keep my subscription.  Stay tuned!

Have you tried Curlee Box?  What do you think of this month’s box?
