As 2018 draws to a close, it’s time to share December’s Curlee Box Free-From box. This year has been rather interesting with some hits and misses and I was almost at the point of cancelling my subscription. But I’ve stuck with it and overall I’ve loved discovering some new brands!
A discovery box of hair goodies for curly and kinky tresses.
Receive 4 to 6 gourmet hair products every month.
This month features 4 full-sized products and I was particularly excited to see Flora & Curl featured again.

I’ve tried a few Cantu products and some of them have worked well for my hair. This is one of those products that didn’t work well for me. The consistency is nice and creamy and it smells tropical like pina colada (artificial fragrance). What I didn’t like about this product is it just seemed to sit on my hair, weighing it down and making it look dull. Unfortunately it’s one to give away.

I was really happy to see this clay wash as it’s now a favourite. I reviewed it here.
The clay mixing kit is a nice addition with mixing bowl, spatula and measuring spoons.
However I use double the measurements stated in the instructions as that would not cover my entire hair. It is easy to mix with water and apply to the hair and scalp. I absolutely love the results from using this clay wash, it gives my hair and scalp a nice detox. My hair is left clean and my curls shiny and defined.

Another favourite from Flora & Curl. This was featured in my first Curlee Box back in February and I’m happy to see it again. They have also increased the size from 200ml to 250ml which is a great bonus. My hair craves moisture especially during this cold winter season. This hair mist helps to soften and hydrate my hair without weighing it down. It is also great for refreshing curls and smells amazing!
So that’s my roundup of the last Curlee Box of 2018. This box is worth over £60 and overall I’m pleased.
Thank you Curlee Box for introducing some amazing brands and products to us in 2018. I’m looking forward to discovering more exciting brands in 2019!
