August is always a very exciting month for me. It’s been a busy month with lots of family birthdays plus I celebrated my 44th birthday last Sunday.

The summer holidays have flown by so quickly and I can’t believe it’s almost over and kids are back to school next week.

Once again it’s time to share August’s LoveLula Beauty Box. This month’s box has some lovely goodies and is worth £61.

Monthly subscription costs £14.95. There’s also an exclusive beauty box offer of 25% off the brands featured in the box.

This month’s box contains full sized goodies from MÁDARA, Inika Organic, Laidbare and Nature’s Kitchen and a sample sachet from Ayumi Naturals.

Laidbare In Safe Hands Sunflower Hand Cream (50ml | £6.99)

Laidbare Sunflower hand cream is the ultimate intensive moisture cream for very dry hands. Everyday exposure leaves your hands thirsty and dry. Quench them with this fabulously aromatic cream and feel the difference as the skin soaks up all the nourishing properties. Organic shea butter has the ability to spread evenly and absorb almost instantly into skin, known for its intense healing properties and gives the hand cream a lovely consistency. Sunflower oil is perfect for distressed hard working hands; deeply moisturising. Vitamin C is an antioxidant known to rejuvenate and strengthen the skin.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Isopropyl Myristate, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Stearic Acid, Persea Gratissma Oil, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum, Tocopherol, Linalool, Dehydroacetic Acid, Geraniol, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Farnesol, Eugenol, Citral

If you are on the look out for natural and affordable skincare, then Laidbare is a great brand to try out. I’m particularly fond of their witty product names. “In Safe Hands” is a hand cream for very dry and hard working hands. So made just for me then…

The consistency is light and creamy and it has a lovely scent. I love that this formula is non-greasy and absorbs instantly when rubbed into the skin. My hands feel so soft and moisturised without any sticky or greasy residue which is great.

It is also great as a foot cream. Overall a lovely product to use. Definitely recommend trying it out.

I’m a huge fan of Nature’s Kitchen now and loving their new Rescue cream. I’m always up for a multi-purpose product and have been putting this to work as a hand and foot cream and on my kids eczema patches.

It has a medium-thick consistency and is nice and creamy. It spreads well onto the skin and absorbs quickly once rubbed in. It is super moisturising but at the same time doesn’t feel greasy.

It leaves my skin soft, smooth and supple. It is 100% fragrance free so ideal for those with sensitive skin. It’s a handy size that fits in my bag when I’m on the go!
