I was super excited to be a judge for the 5th annual CertClean Clean Beauty Awards! I shared this news on Instagram

I was even more excited to find out I would be judging my favourite beauty products – Face oils!

I was sent 10 face oils to put to the test..

Over 370 products entered for 2019/2020 and judging took place from August to December. The global Clean Beauty Awards are completely independent – each product was tried, tested, and scored by an independent panel of judges located in North America, Europe and Australia.

I judged each product on:

  • Overall performance (does the product do what it says it would do)
  • Ease of use (application process, clear instructions etc)
  • User Experience (odour, texture, residue, absorption rate)
  • Recommendation (would you recommend this product to others?)

I will be sharing a review of the oils in a later post…stay tuned.

My top 3 oils were:
  • Neven Balance Facial oil
  • Amaki Botanical Skincare Japanese Tsubaki Anti-aging Face Oil
  • Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose oil

One of my top 3 oils made it to the finalist round.
